I’ll be honest in that I have not really used the IIe card since I bought it last year. I just tried it once and that was it (won’t be using it this year, as I’m just using a few floppies for the show). If it is similar to the IIgs card, I simply copied files over, but with GS/OS though. I would think that any copy utility would work, or check out their instructions that came on the CD. Otherwise, simply contact the folks that sell the unit. They respond quickly to emails (they did last year).

Can you tell me how you transferred your files to the microdrive cf card? I have ciderpress and purchased the iie microdrive and have no idea how to copy my images over to the card..oh, and the card I have came pre-formatted with the necessary utilities for the iie, so all I see is a huge list of files when I mount it…no folders etc…to put my images into.

Any tutorial would help greatly. Thanks.

I was playing around with my Neo Geo MVS board the other day and couldn’t get it to work. I tried everything – cleaning, checking the capacitors, looking for obvious signs of damage… Nothing. I finally got to thinking that I’d forgotten what the DIP switches on the MVS did. So I checked them out again… Sure enough, one of the DIP switches for stopping the MVS had accidentally been turned on to and from storage. To say the least I thought about this post a bit when I was fretting over whether or not the MVS had died.

I could try 11 in ’11, but I don’t know if I want to, or have the table room for it. Would be a nice thing, though I don’t want to start a trend (such as 12 in ’12).

Yes, if I can’t get it working early today. I think it may be a feature in the game, as in ‘if you pop into the game where someone else is standing – poof, they are fragged’. Remember, in the game, you pop up in certain spots all the time. I think the game won’t let two players be in those spots at the same time. Just a thought though. This year was the first year I was going to have the machines up and in the game, which is why the feature/bug may have appeared. I’ll hopefully find out in a few hours before the show if I am correct. I’m going to ‘move’ players as they join, and see if the instant death still occurs.

Hrrm. So two computers will have to be the controlling computers I assume. I assume that kills the “do not touch this computer as it’s running the game” idea. Oh well, I kind of like the veteran/newbie LAN idea. Just weird that it went goofy on you like that. I assume you ruled out interference from the ceiling.

If I can remember I’ll bring a wico controller for the intellivision. I don’t have an intellivision but somehow ended up with the controller. If it works you can have it. Looking forward to the show!
