Starting preparation (finally) for 2009 UC display at MGC

Its not a big start, but it is a start, and that is where I begin. It is now official, Quake (running on Classic OS 9), will return once again for the Underdog Chamber. This will be the final time though - I'm calling this the 'Final Curtain Call' for Quake. Not that I hate the game or anything, I just want something new. But that will have to wait till my job situation stabilizes (or get another job). So this will be the third year of doing Quake on a Macintosh LAN. The only difference from the last two years, is that I am going to add one more Mac, thus creating an 8-player Quake LAN. I'll need to pick out a system and put OS 9 and Quake on it. Plus I'll have to dig out the stuff from last year, and make sure nothing died while in storage. Other than that, I'm officially declaring that the Odyssey2 will be in the show too. I still want to video mod it, but either way, it will be there. The Gamecube will return as well, and I'm bringing back the Vectrex. Systems that I'm contemplating for the '09 show are: G7400, Apple //gs, Apple //e (more than likely on that one), Timex/Sinclair ZX81/TS1000, Bally (Astrocade), Arcadia 2001, TI 99/4A, and the Intellivision. Time will tell which systems may the show!
