Happy Holidays and all that stuff
Hope everyone had a good Xmas day. And of course, have fun on the New Year day coming up real soon.
As for the UC, I've actually ordered a few RAM chips to test out running OS X on the old iMacs (like 333MHz or slower). I want to see how these old champs handle OS X, and if they could run an updated version of Quake or not. It is just a test, as I don't plan on updating my whole fleet of computers this year. But, if it works, I would probably run an updated version of Quake in 2010 (it if works of course).
Other than that, I've been going nuts trying to update a computer for my sister. After days, I finally found the culprit - one stupid little file (a plug-in) that for some reason the new machine did not like. Thanks to the Internet for that one, which is where I found the tip on removing the plug-in so the program would actually run (instead of crashing each and every time).
Oh well, have a good New Years Eve. Don't drink and drive (I won't).
